How Our Puppies Are Raised

We utilize Avidog protocol. It seeks a natural upbringing that stimulates them to be engaged to be the best pup that they can be. Many dogs and breeders today are facing many challenges with temperament, increased genetic diseases and cancer rates. In the community were are seeing growing legislation on dogs and dog breeding, euthanasia of too many dogs and rising insurance rates. We want to address these challenges by using proven dog breeding and puppy-raising practices. This is why we chose Avidog, because they have the tools to assist breeders and owners to improve the quality of our dogs.

Health

Regular Deworming
Titering and vaccinations
Health check and certificate from veterinarian
Microchipping and registration
We do not remove dew claws

Nutrition

Dam is given supplementation to aid in pups' development.
Introduction to solid foods at 4-5 weeks or until pups teeth are capable of chewing.

Mental Development and Stimulation

Raised in our home that includes sounds, activities and smells of a typical home with other pets and children
Biosensor exercises from 3-16 days
Introduction to unique scents daily from 3-16 days
Play pen with opportunities for complex problem solving (toys, puppy pen)
Daily outdoor walks/play at 6 weeks
Introduction to training - crate, potty and basic obedience

Social Development

Raised in our home with regular interaction with people
Pups have free access to their mother until the pups are ready to go home
